The Live Karaoke Band will be appearing at Southsea Bandstand on Sunday 8 August for a three hour show starting at 1pm.

This show is part of Portsmouth City Council's fantastic free music festival throughout summer and it will give the chance for you to sing with the band.

No matter how quickly we try and rattle through the long list of singers who want to join us on stage, there are always people who are disappointed they didn't put their name forward sooner, leaving it to the last minute.

We've therefore setup a special page on the website that will allow people to register their name and song choice in advance of the show.  These people will be chosen at random to join the band for the first part of the show, with everybody else who turns up on the day having the chance to join in afterwards.

The Live Karaoke Band is proud to announce that they have been booked to play at the world-famous Abbey Road studios at the end of summer.

The band are incredibly proud to follow in the footsteps of British legends such as Pink Floyd, Radiohead, U2, Oasis and that little known quartet from Liverpool, The Beatles.

It is planned that the gig will not only be photographed but also recorded, both audio and video.

The Live Karaoke Band are proud to announce that they will be appearing at this year's Rewind Festival.

This year's festival will see some of the biggest names from the Eighties take to the stage during the three-day festival at Henley On Thames, Oxon.

Confirmed acts include Level 42, Rick Astley, The Weather Girls, T-Pau, Kajagoogoo, Heaven 17, Curiosity Killed The Cat, Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet with ABC and Go West, Midge Ure, Chesney Hawkes, 10cc and Hazel O'Connor.

The Live Karaoke Band will be appearing on all three days of the festival, from Friday 20 August to Sunday 22 August.

2010 looks to be an exciting year for The Live Karaoke Band as they take their rockaoke roadshow on road playing to tens of thousands of people.

Already confirmed for 2010 are summer appearances at Southsea Bandstand, Tonefest and the renowned Rewind Festival.

Last year's Rewind Festival featured live performances from 80s legends such as Rick Astley, Bananarama, Belinda Carlisle, Billy Ocean, Gloria Gaynor, Sister Sledge, ABC, Paul Young and Nik Kershaw.

This year sees the likes of Level 42, Rick Astley, The Weather Girls, T-Pau, Kajagoogoo, Heaven 17, Curiosity Killed The Cat, Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet with ABC and Go West, Midge Ure, Chesney Hawkes, 10cc and Hazel O'Connor.
