What the Live Karaoke Band is doing to keep you safe at shows

As we approach the end of lockdown restrictions and look forward to welcoming guests back on stage to sing with the band, we wanted to let you know what we'll be doing to keep everybody safe, not only the guests but also the musicians.

As well as keeping a close eye on and adhering to the latest government guidelines for live music and social gatherings, we'll also be implementing the following five additional measures:

Disposable microphone covers

We'll use disposable protective covers on each guest microphone and replace them after each singer. Check out https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08CZ16NWQ for further details.

Microphone sanitising spray

We're also going to use an anti-sceptic spray to clean all the guest microphones at the end of each sixty minute set. Check out https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08PVYCDG2 for further details.

Full PA clean after every show

We'll ensure the entire PA system is given a proper clean after every show.

One singer, one microphone

We'll limit the number of guest singers on stage at any one time so that there is only one singer using each microphone. We normally position two guest microphones two metres apart anyway (stage permitting) so we should still be able to allow duets but that will be the maximum allowed on stage at any one time for the foreseeable future.

Enforcement

The band will proactively enforce the above measures with our singer reminding everyone of rules throughout the show.

Safety at events, such as Live Karaoke Band shows, is a shared responsibility and we hope everyone will support this. We will, of course, continue to review and update our safety measures over the coming months as required.
